International research project to mark the 200th anniversary of The World as Will and Representation: The New Century of Schopenhauer (Japan Society for Promotion of Science, Project No. 17H02281)

Overview
This research project is financially supported by the Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) and is planing the following international conferences.

1. The young Schopenhauer and His Age: Background and Genesis of The World as Will and Representation on Februar 21 and 22, 2018 at Kwansei Gakuin University, Nishinomiya [Program of Conference][Call for Papaers]

2. The World as Will and Representation Re-read - The Whole Conception, the Central Themes and <Schopenhauer and the Orient> from February 19 to 22, 2019 at Ryukoku University, Kyoto [Program of Conference][Call for Papaers]

3. The New Century of SchopenhauerFebruary 22-24 2020 at Nihon University, Tokyo [Program of Conference][Call for Papaers]

The research project will participate in the following events:
1. the Schopenhauer-Section (Sciety Session Nr. 56) at the World Congress of Philosophy (WCP) in August 13 to 20, 2018 at the China National Convention Center, Beijing.

2. the International Schopenhauer Congress of the International Schopenhauer-Society to mark the 200th anniversary of The World as Will and Representation, October 23 to 26, 2019 at Goethe University of Frankfurt with a special session.
